Arctic Chiropractic founded its original location here in Bethel, Alaska in October 2005. Dr. Campbell operated Arctic Chiropractic Bethel until April of 2006 when he personally chose Dr. Chris Twiford to come to Bethel to run the office on a permanent basis.

Dr. Twiford Arrives

Dr. Chris Twiford arrived in Bethel on April 27th, 2006 with 9 years of practice experience. Dr. Twiford comes from a chiropractic family. In, fact, he first knew he wanted to become a Chiropractor in 1986 at the age of 13 when he watched his Uncle Bill adjust a family member. After attending Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, Dr. Twiford began Texas Chiropractic College in Houston, Texas in 1993. Upon graduating in 1997, Dr. Twiford practiced in Houston, Texas for 8 years before deciding to relocate to Bethel in 2006.

Dr. Twiford quickly took to living in rural Alaska and soon he and his partner Kelly began putting down roots in Bethel. In  addition to growing Arctic Chiropractic Bethel into one of the premier health care facilities in western Alaska. Dr. Twiford also holds a seat on the Board of Directors for both the Bethel Chamber of Commerce as well as the Bethel Family Clinic.

Facility Improvements Made in 2007

Arctic Chiropractic Bethel has grown and expanded rapidly in its first years. In October of 2007 we proudly unveiled our new digital X-ray suite to the community. We were proud to be the first to bring some of the bery latest and best in digital imaging technology out to the YK Delta. We underwent major physical improvement to accommodate our new imaging room so we also went ahead and completely upgraded our entire office computer system as well as the office furniture. From better furniture to better software, at Arctic Chiropractic Bethel we are always improving the quality of our facilities for our friends, families, and patients in the YK Delta. Our goal is to provide the very best services not only in western Alaska, but anywhere in the world. Many of our patients have remarked that they never would have guessed that the best Chiropractic care they have ever received would be in Bethel, Alaksa.
